Matt is a finance executive with over 15 years of experience in investment and real estate. Being a toastmaster for the past couple of years has allowed him to develop his communication skills and confidence in public speaking. Owen Cooper
Vice President Education
Owen likes to compete in endurance sports as well as read popular psychology and self development books.
He is working to learn from others and has a goal to speak publicly to as many different audiences as he can as he learns to be a better speaker.

Monica Dragnescu
Club Treasurer
Monica joined Tunbridge Wells Speakers Club to grow her confidence in talking to people outside her circle and quickly discovered that the best way to grow was by helping others grow too. Not long after joining the club, she took the leap into leadership by becoming an Area Director, before later serving as Division H Director for District 91, supporting clubs across Kent and Sussex. Last year, Monica was Vice President Public Relations for Tunbridge Wells Speakers Club, and this year she serves as Club Treasurer. She also found the courage to take on a brand-new challenge as the host of the District 91 podcast. Outside Toastmasters, Monica is a money behaviour transformation specialist and accountant. She's single parent of a teenager daughter and 2 bossy cats. Her journey is proof that confidence isn't something you're born with, it's something you build, one brave step at a time.

Vice President Membership
Ali has led the legal teams at The Football Association and World Rugby. He’s now a Partner at Level a boutique sports, media and entertainment law firm. He’s loves the support and practice he gets at TW Speakers and as VP Membership is ready to help any new members with inquiries.

Maria is a Personal Brand Strategist who helps professionals and founders build authentic personal brands and become more visible on LinkedIn. She believes everyone has a story worth sharing and that public speaking is one of the best ways to grow in confidence, connect with others, and create new opportunities. As Vice President Public Relations, she enjoys promoting Tunbridge Wells Speakers Club and helping more people discover the value of Toastmasters.

Club Secretary
Ebube Olivia Akueme is a dedicated and enthusiastic individual. She possesses excellent interpersonal skills and confidently communicates concisely and articulately, at all levels, the concepts of living a balanced life and becoming your better version.
Ebube believes in setting one’s priorities in the order of God first, family next, followed by work. She is an International TedX speaker, an intelligent lifestyle coach and author of two books, Balance the unbalanced life and Be better which is also her life's philosophy.
Ebube is an Entrepreneur, Financial Educator, Philantropist, wife, and mother of five. One of her favourite quotes is "live and let live."
