Celebrating 20 Years Together!

On Tuesday 9th September 2025, Tunbridge Wells Speakers Club proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary — a milestone that brought together members past and present, honoured guests, and friends of the club.

We were delighted to be joined by the Mayor of Tunbridge Wells, David Osborne, Toastmasters District Director, Debbie Williams, as well as past members and VITs (Very Important Toastmasters) from across the area.

The evening was filled with reflection, inspiration, and celebration. Speeches marked the special occasion, followed by a toast to the club’s many achievements over the years. A glass of bubbles and slices of celebratory cake gave the evening a joyful sparkle.

Of course, no Speakers Club meeting would be complete without a lively Table Topics session, which brought much laughter and joy to round off the evening with speeches from the Mayor, the District Director, past members and guests.

It was a true celebration of two decades of growth, confidence, and community, and a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact that public speaking and leadership development can have on people’s lives.
